Easy Cooked Apples
Quick to make and a must to add to any breakfast or alone as a snack. Perfect in oatmeal, yogurt, or alone as a snack!
- 4 Fuji or Gala Apples
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Wash, peel, and core apples. Dice into ½ inch cubes.
Add apples to medium pot then add cinnamon.
Cover apples with water and stir.
Cook pot over medium-low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until desired softness.
I like to serve my apples with oatmeal or yogurt for breakfast. I also serve this to my toddlers in their breakfast yogurt or allow as a snack!
Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Apples can be served cold, at room temperature, or reheated.
