I am totally serious about the shelf of chips at my parents’ house…. Just ask my husband! I LOVE that shelf… every time I go to my parents’ house I discover a new flavor of chip to try! A while back, I had a bunch of left over corn tortillas that were on the verge of going bad. I didn’t want to throw them away so I decided to turn them into tortilla chips. Genius!
No need to buy a big bag of tortilla chips if you have some corn tortillas laying around at home! These chips are SO easy to make, you’ll be whipping them up weekly. To start, stack 6 tortillas on top of each other and cut into 6 wedges.
Spread the tortilla wedges on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray and season the top of the wedges with chili powder, garlic powder, and salt.
Bake for 6 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, turn the wedges over, and bake for another 6 minutes until the wedges are crisp.
